Best Books of 2021
Before get to the sexy data, I just have to say that I managed to read 108 books this year, which is the most I've ever read, 49 books ahead of my original Goodreads goal and 4 books ahead of my adjusted Goodreads goal. What I Read August 2021
August... what a month. It is always my least favorite month of the year, with school starting and the chaos that comes with that. But whew... this one was a doozy. It's a good thing I had so many great books to serve as distractions from life. I read a pretty wide variety in August, … Continue reading What I Read August 2021

But I did FOUR on … Continue reading What I Read April 2021
Infertility Awareness Month
In September 2017, my husband and I took a walk and decided to try to get pregnant. We weren't going to tell anyone we were trying -- that's weird, right? Everyone thinking of you *trying* (maybe that's just in my head). Anyway, we decided to try and keep it a secret. A year later, and … Continue reading Infertility Awareness Month
What I Read in Women’s History Month 2021
I love March, and I always have fun looking for books for Women's History Month. Books about women and for women, and I'm particularly impressed by the diversity in genre and literary-ness (is that a word?) of the books I read this month.
What I Read: Black History Month 2021
I managed to read 10 books this month, which is hella impressive, if I do say so myself. Even more exciting is the fact that I read only Black authors this month.
