Everything from lighthearted humor to poignant historical fiction to crazy thrillers to mindblowing nonfiction -- no genre was untouched, and I am so grateful to these stories for getting me through this hectic season.

Favorite Backlist BOTM Books
It's no secret that I love Book of the Month Club. I've been a member since April 2017, when I asked my mom for a gift subscription for my 28th birthday. Today I wanted to highlight some of my favorite Book of the Month books from the past 4 years that I've been a member.
What I Read: December 2018
I didn’t post one of these in November, because I only read 4 books. I fell into an awful slump, and the books I chose to read were not fast paced enough to get me out of that slump. Luckily, after finishing Anna Karenina, I felt a huge sense of accomplishment, which propelled me to read even more in December. I will be posting my annual “Best of” post in a few days, but I wanted to update this before I began working on that one.
